The Cheesewring and other attractions

No not a giant ring of cheese! But a natural stone phenomenon and inspiration for our company logo, it looks down from its bleak prominent position on Bodmin Moor on cheese production at Knowle Farm. The saucer-like stack, or ‘Tor’ as it’s known, is a result of years of erosion by harsh wind and rain; well worth a visit on your way to or from the Cheese farm.

The stone circle of the ‘Hurlers’ is also worth a visit; legend tells that it’s actually people who have been turned to stone whilst playing the ancient game of ‘hurling.’ You will find the ‘The Hurlers’ at the historical mining village of Minions.

Visitors are welcome at the Cornish Cheese Company , Knowle Farm; and can currently purchase cheese from the farm.
We would like to remind visitors to take care especially with small children, as this is a working farm. Visitors are welcome to explore the farm and visit the animals but please note dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
