‘Replace your entire Christmas Cheeseboard with a piece of Cornish Blue’ – so says the Guardian
In case you missed it the Guardian Weekend section at the beginning of December had an in-depth article about Christmas cheeseboards. One of the contributors, food writer Patrick McGuigan, suggested replacing the entire cheeseboard with a piece of Cornish Blue and “some great accompaniments”. McGuigan said of Cornish Blue “It is lighter than Stilton and has a nice minerality. You could have it with a drizzle of honey and some toasted walnuts, or even fudge. Something sweet and nutty like peanut brittle goes well with lots of a lot of cheeses especially a blue”.
The final date for ordering Cornish Blue on line in time for Christmas is Tuesday December 20th. Please click here to do so.
